I almost always recommend scheduling engagement sessions approximately 90 minutes before sunset. Starting a little earlier allows plenty of time to explore the dunes before finishing along the shoreline as the sun begins to disappear over the water. The changing light creates incredible variety throughout the gallery, from bright natural portraits to warm golden hour images and soft blue-hour tones after sunset.
Because Grand Beach is a natural setting, comfortable shoes are always a good idea for walking between locations. Most couples eventually kick them off once we reach the sand, which helps create a relaxed, carefree feel throughout the session.
