When Katwan and Taylor began planning their engagement session, they knew they wanted something elevated. They were drawn to an elegant outdoor setting with beautiful architecture, room to move around, and a timeless feel that would still look just as good years from now.

The Dayton Art Institute was exactly what they had in mind.

The architecture and surrounding grounds gave us a mix of polished portraits and more relaxed moments throughout their engagement session, while their two white dresses kept the entire gallery feeling cohesive and sophisticated.

After eight years together, this season feels especially exciting for Katwan and Taylor. They got engaged in July and are getting married this November, celebrating with a small, intimate wedding surrounded by the people they love most.

Some of my favorite photographs from Katwan and Taylor's session happened in the spaces between the more directed portraits—walking together, laughing, looking at each other, or simply settling into the moment.
